Dnyandeep Education & Research Foundation, Sangli (India) is a Public Charitable Trust registered under Public Trust Act(1950) vide No. E/1530/Sangli dated 16-3-2005.
Dnyandeep Infotech Pvt. Ltd., a software company established at Sangli in 2000 AD, had developed many socially relevant, education oriented websites with non commercial motive. In order to provide a proper platform for such educational and social activities, this foundation was established in 2005 and the further development of these websites was undertaken by the foundation.
This foundation was established for undertaking Research & Development projects in Information Technology for speedy transfer knowledge about advances in science and Technology and to promote their implementation for the overall development of India. It conducts seminars, exhibitions and training programs for achieving mass literacy, science awareness and human resource development. |
| Objectives of the Foundation : |
- To undertake research and development projects in information technology for providing modern educational facilities to people of all casts and religions for achieving mass literacy, science awareness and human resource development.
- To achieve national integration by opening channels of information communication crossing the barriers of languages, distance and other limitations through use of web technology and software development.
- To develop internet information resource centers and establish association of individuals and organizations concerned with use of Information Technology for India.
- To establish and run education portal websites, schools, colleges, research laboratories and libraries for imparting education in Information Technology and related fields.
- To collaborate with national and international education and research institutes and other organizations for imparting distance education in various fields through electronic media.
- To undertake and conduct seminars, exhibitions and training programs for disseminating information about advances in science and technology.
- To provide information resources to Indians living abroad for preservation and propagation of Indian Literature, Culture and National Heritage with reciprocal contribution from them for overall development and prosperity of India.
- To strive for building India strong with the help of Information Technology and to make it a world leader in propagating knowledge and wisdom to the mankind.
- To undertake any other activity necessary for achieving above objectives.

- One day workshop on “Use of Solar Energy in Building Planning and Design” in Sept. 2004 at KIT College of Engineering, Kolhapur.
- One day workshop on “Design of Green Building” in May 2006 at Kolhapur.
- Two day workshop on “Dream of Green City” at Hotel The Senator, Pune on 21-22 Sept. 2006 for Builders, Architects and municipal authorities.
- One day workshop on “Renewable Energy Sources” conducted jointly by foundation and DKTE College, Ichalkaranji on 2nd October 2007.
- One day workshop on “Design of Green Building” in May 2006 at Kolhapur.

| Books Published : |
Two books viz 'Sanskritdeepika' and 'Sangava' were published, to promote Marathi Litrature and Sanskrit Language.
Sanskritdeepika deals with teaching Sanskrit in schools and contains Sanskrit grammer, word dictionary Marathi to Sanskrit, Dhatu, Vibhakti, Sandhi and Samas collection.
Sangava is a book of Marathi poems written by Trustee of foundation Mrs. S. S. Ranade

| Research Projects : |
The foundation has done extensive research in use of Solar energy and application of LED technology for reducing electrical energy requirements in buildings. A showroom “Solar City” is opened in Kolhapur city for display of products developed by foundation.
